How much will dental implants cost me?
The Price of Treatment Is Different for Everyone
With us, the cost of a single dental implant ranges from $5,000 to $6,000. Surgical fees, sedation, and restorations (crowns, bridges, or dentures) will add to the overall cost of replacing your teeth.
It is important to remember that the final price of treatment will vary significantly from one patient to the next. It is impossible to give you an exact quote without our dentist first examining your teeth. Dr. Tim Kelly will be happy to provide a personalized estimate at your initial consultation.
The 4 Main Factors Determining the Cost of Implant Treatment
Number of Implants
The cost of treatment increases with the number of dental implants you need to restore your smile. A patient who is missing one tooth will require a single implant, while those missing several teeth will need more. Treating complete tooth loss usually requires four to eight implants on each dental arch.
Type of Restoration
Implant-supported crowns, bridges, and dentures are composed of varying amounts of prosthetic teeth. It goes without saying, a dental crown replacing one tooth is typically less expensive than an implant-supported denture, which replaces an entire dental arch.
Implant Materials
Most dental implants are composed of a biocompatible titanium alloy. However, a small percentage of patients demonstrate a sensitivity to metal alloys, which makes it necessary to use an alternate material, such as zirconia. The material used will affect the final cost of your dental implants.
Preparatory Procedures
Some patients need preliminary procedures such as a bone graft or sinus lift to restore their implant candidacy. While additional procedures will add to your treatment cost, they significantly reduce the likelihood of implant failure.
Why Patients Value Our Implant Treatment "it was worth every single penny..."
All I can say is that Dr. Kelly is the best dentist I’ve ever been to, and I have been to a lot of them. He didn’t pretend to want to try to save my teeth. Others wanted me to spend a fortune on doing things to save the teeth I knew were going to come out sooner or later....In any case, Dr. Kelly asked me what I wanted to do. We worked out a plan, he built me new dentures that fit decent. Then we started talking implants. They were expensive, my insurance didn’t cover much of it. But it was worth every single penny. I still see him every six months. I highly recommend Dr. Kelly.

Dental Implants Can Save You Money Long-Term
While dental implants cost more upfront than alternative forms of restorative dentistry, they offer unmatched durability and longevity. Implants can last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance, while traditional crowns, bridges, and dentures need periodic replacement.
Meanwhile, as implants protect you from the damaging effects of tooth loss, you are less likely to need certain costly procedures in the future. Many of our patients in the greater Albuquerque region find that implants save them money throughout a lifetime.
