Dr. Kelly: Hi, I'm Dr. Tim Kelly and I'd like to welcome you to my dental practice. I've been a dentist here in Albuquerque for about 34 years. I'm from Albuquerque so I really enjoy seeing patients I've really kind of grown up with. I specialize in areas of the mouth that patients typically don't think of, if they have a TMJ problem, if they have joint pain, or if they're wearing their teeth out, so we specialize in making patients comfortable.
Patient: I was in a bad place with TMJ. Dr. Kelly has gradually helped fix all that without doing anything really drastic, without having to do surgery which I was afraid I was going to have to do. It's been a godsend because I can finally sleep again and I've just improved 100%. So I really recommend him.
Dr. Kelly: Patients that are in pain and that have been pained for years, and you get them feeling much better, it can change their life. And that's far more rewarding to me and my practice and my employees than only changing a smile.
Patient: I've been able to survive with headaches, but now that I no longer have them, it's just amazing how much better I feel. The energy I have, things that I always took for granted.
Dr. Kelly: We are general dentists, so if patients need fillings and cleanings and the typical things that they think of in dentistry, we certainly provide that service. But we go above and beyond, diagnosing very specific problems that patients might have that other dentists really don't have the ability or maybe the desire to do what we do.
Patient: I'm really, really happy with the results. It's very instrumental to my wellness of being. There are all these things that I wasn't able to do for five years, so he's really given me my life back.
Dr. Kelly: The most fulfilling aspect of my job is when patents come in and they've been in pain for years, and they may have been seeking other routes of treatment, either from a dentist or a physician, and they just haven't gotten comfortable. So when we're able to see them, diagnose the problem, get them comfortable, and get them out of pain that they've been suffering for years, that's really very rewarding.
